I'm fairly new to the sim world and I would like to participate in the campaigns.

I am glad you found us. The Next step would be to join our discord and Teamspeak servers and then we can have a recruiter contact you to help you get setup to fly.
If you happen to be North American, we do a casual training at 8pm EDT on Fridays and there will be a few of us on tonight and a couple who are pretty new as well. The Europeans do their training on Thursdays at ~20:00 UTC.
