Im 27 years old and I used to play on mil sim groups on ArmA 2 and most recently on arma reforger. I really like coordination to get the most out of simulators. I've always had a thing for flying, event with only mouse, keyboard and wheel. Yes I used a steering wheel to control the throttle, brake and throttle for yaw and mouse for roll and pitch. I decided to buy a joystick and a good flight sim and I'm really enjoying it, especially the WWII sims (il2), but I still miss the coordination I had when I played with mil sim groups. By coincidence when I was playing on the finnish war pilots one of your members mentioned you flied very well coordinated and thats exactly what I'm looking for.

I think it is much better to fly in IL-2 with a group. It really is like any other milsim and there is a decent amount of lingo to learn. Learning to be a bomber/attacker isn't too hard once you get the basics down, but being a good fighter pilot takes much more knowledge, experience and skill.
How much experience do you have in the game so far and which "battles" do you have?
I always recommend new people watch these tutorial videos and I can tell you he has helped me a lot. https://www.youtube.com/@RequiemsACTL He has videos on how to fly each plane, basic flight skills, beginner dogfighting videos and more.
Also a great way to get some help is hang out in the Finnish discord, people will usually be on and will help you out. Find the discord on their website http://stats.virtualpilots.fi:8000/en/?tour=60
People have been spending some time on the FTC Teamspeak and we can help too.
