New Pilot - antonio_v

Post by antoniov »

Hello all,

I'm vntonio. on Discord, and antonio_v on IL-2, and I've been flying on IL-2 for close to 320 hours as of writing this, with about 100 of those hours being on single-player alone. I am from Sydney, Australia, but that should not affect my availability to participate in all the events.

I fly both sides on CombatBox, but when I want to play a bit more seriously, I tend to enjoy the Axis side which is what I've chosen for both TAW and hopefully FTC if possible. I am a medium bomber guy, I typically fly Ju88's and He111's with heavy preference to the Heinkel.

My formation flying whilst in the climb is mostly mediocre, but once the bombers are set into autolevel whilst on final I can keep everything tight and tidy.

Have not gotten TeamSpeak set up just yet, but will be following a tutorial for it a little later on to make sure I have everything set up correctly there.

Hope to see you lads up in the skies.

Hello! Welcome to FTC.

Nice, that you already joined our Discord. Soon one of our recruiters will contact you.

Our campaign is currently on a break. But it will continue 24 november. Our bombers squadron "FTC-Raiders" are currently flying He-111 as "Grupul 5 bombardament" as primary aircraft. Quite often we have secondary sorties in Ju88, Ju87 and Ju52. But from one campaign to another we are switching side or aircraft. It depends on historical campaign needs.

You can read some guides https://pam.flyingtincans.com/#/documentation-general, to prepare yourself for our campaign:
- download skinpack "FTC Stalingrad 1942" from HSD (see guides in Documents section of our Pilots and Mission database "PAM").
- setup TeamSpeak.

Here is my YT channel where you can watch some videos from our campaigns: https://www.youtube.com/@FlyingRostic
Also a lot of videos can be found on Idol's YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/@mansuraidol4406/videos
