New pilot application.

Post by Doggo »

Good morning,

I'm looking to join a group in il2, I've been flying simulators since I was five. My dad was going through his IFR rating for helicopters at the time and let me "fly" with him. Instantly was hooked. In high-school i started my private pilots license when I was 16. From there I joined the Navy at 18 and became an Aircrewman. Got out of the navy after 6 years. During that time I majored in aerospace engineering. This is where my love for war birds came to life. I especially love the FW190 D9 and the Spitfire IXE and it's normally what you'll find me flying in the sim.

Hi Ghostlydoggo and welcome!

If you didn't make it on Sunday, Thursday is the next best bet - although most folk are on EU evening times so not sure how that'll fit with your schedule. Do you have a general preference for Allies or Axis other than the a/c listed? We will try to take that into account while balancing with what units need pilots, but obviously each squadron changes type between campaigns and theatres.

Look forward to seeing you in the sky!

Hi spigot, I did make it on Sunday. I flew with the guys in the p51. I do not have a preference to axis or allies. I just don't really like Russian aircraft. I won't be able to make Thursday but I was told there is a campaign op on Saturday I believe. I will make that. As for scheduling it works well for me since I work nights.

Sunday, not Saturday. Mission briefing starts at 1845UTC. I suggest to be in TS at 1830UTC.
