Hi,
I have been looking quite a while for something organized to fly with and be part of a group.. Saw Tin Cans and really liked what I see. My time zone is in the US central time.
I am retired so yeah I'm old and wise !
Have been into combat flight sims for quite a while now , I started in the 90's ,, Specifically I Flew "Air Warrior 1 , Air Warrior 2 and Air Warrior 3D" on AOL in about 1996 and followed it up until it was finally taken down in the early 2000. I had tried Warbirds for a while..didn't much care for it .Then flew a lot of IL2 Sturmovik from the beginning of time it seems in the days of "Oleg Maddox"
Flew all of the very early IL2 Sturmovik versions including the Pacific Fighters Version designed by Oleg Maddox . Except for IL2 1946.. I have experienced a lot of popular single players over the years such as "Janes WW2 Fighters", and "European Air War"
Recently in the past few years is solely IL2Sturmovik. I have all the theaters and most campaigns , and most of the aircraft..
My aircraft of choice is the P51D Mustang and is my main ride which I use for the air support , dogfighting, ground support flak busting ..Also the P38 Lightning I use for ground support , strafing, bombing . I also have experience in the Mig3. Not much experience with Allied and Axis Bombers and the Axis Planes but would be willing to learn. I fly with Trakir may step into VR ,, cost isn't a factor just not sure if it's my bag so to speak.
I am very proficient in Mission Building using the Mission Builder for multiplayer and single player. Have dipped my toes into Coop mission building as well ..
The biggest reason I want to belong to an organized Air Combat Group is mostly all the servers out there are just big furball servers. That is great for practice but I really want something more realistic and belonging to a group like this is just that . Hope you let me join you !!
Thank you for reading this
