FTC - Flying Tin Cans

I flew with Sketch and company in the early years of Friday night flights on combatbox until life got in the way. Recently moved and am rebuilding a new version of my simpit on a DOF-reality H3 platform. I should finally be to a flyable state by Christmas this year so I'm eager to join Birddog (who I know from ze real world) flying a spit mk v in the last leg of the campaign and hopefully keep flying with you all for future campaigns from the beginning.

I have a strong interest in aviation history and flight. I'm an aero eng and a pilot IRL. I'm most intrigued by the emphasis on realism and fun in lieu of racking up kills like some sort of call of duty of the air. Just as happy to be skip bombing shipping in an A20 as I would be providing high cover in a 190. I appreciate good communication and like-minded squad-mates. I fly exclusively in VR and although my setup is currently only setup for IL2 GB I own a ton of DCS stuff and will eventually get that setup too. I also thoroughly enjoy flying the old WWI kites!

Hopefully that's enough of an intro; looking forward to meeting the rest of the squad!

Thanks! Happy to swap simpit stories! Still wading through the fun of getting telemetry to play nice between all of the devices... Eventually it will all work properly, probably right in time for a computer upgrade
